A competition was organized by the Government of India to design the next currency coins of 10Rs and 20Rs. An inspiration board was made and accordingly, the coin was designed in a scaled model 3X the original size. The image of Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam was engraved in the coin and the lights & shadows were shown by the depth of engraving and height of protrusion. Different software was used in different stages of designing like: pencil sketching on paper for Dr. Kalam's portrait, Photoshop, Auto Cad, etc. Different people assisted in different stages of designing like Mr. Aswin Suresh for pencil sketching and Mr. Mayank for 3D rendering.
